Whilst they may come in different forms and sizes, power wheelchairs are fundamentally all the same. Our power wheelchairs operate by a joystick style control. A speed adjuster is also accessible from the control panel as well as a battery indicator.

The wheelchair operates from two separate motors driving the two rear wheels individually. This allows the mobility device to turn on the spot and navigate narrow and tight turnings, similar to a traditional wheelchair. The two large batteries easily provide a full day of usage and the included charger can be used at night time when not in use.

The model of power wheelchair we stock has full-length armrests and a pocket at the back of the seat for storing items. It also has two adjustable, removable swinging footrests. A seat cushion is included with the hire of this disability aid to give extra comfort during long uses. Please not this is a heavy and large item so for Palma Airport collection we advise the recipient has either a large car or van and a ramp for loading and unloading.
